If none of this component is classified as toxic or noxious, the vapours (in normal conditions of use) are not dangerous for the health. On the contrary, if a dangerous product is present in the aerosol in enough quantity to have harmful effect on human being or environment, thus the eventual danger will be pointed out on the packaging by one of the following pictogram :

Warning : This pictogram are indicative. An aerosol labelled with this kind of pictograms is not to be banish. You only need to take some precaution in order to use it in good conditions. When you see these pictograms it is important to read the whole label which will give you more precision on the exact nature of the danger and how to protect yourself.
For example : 2 products classified Xi (irritant) can represent two different danger. One can be specified “irritant for the eyes” and the other “irritant for the skin”. A product can also be classified in one of these categories and the possible effects would appear only in case of repeated or extended exposure. This will be mentioned on the label.
ODIF products
None of the ODIF adhesive destined to the general public (crafts, stationer’s…) is classified toxic, noxious, dangerous for the environment or irritant. It is also the case for the majority of the products of the industry range. ODIF make an effort to develop products that does not contain components entering in these categories. The propel gas used by ODIF are the same that those used in the deodorant or the hair spray.
