What is added automatically
La page you arrived from on the site and — if you clicked one of our ads — thead click identifier that Google adds to the address, along with any campaign parameters in that address. It tells us which ads bring real enquiries. This information is kept for the length of your visit, in your browser, and is only sent when you click “Send”.
Your IP address is used to limit automated submissions. It is not linked to any enquiry: it serves only to count recent submissions, and it is deleted after 24 hours.
We never ask for sensitive data — origin, health, opinions, trade union membership. Please don’t write any in the free-text field: we don’t need it to answer you.
Why, and on what basis
To answer your project or quotation enquiry. The legal basis is your enquiry itself: we cannot answer it without this information.
To consider your application or internship request. Same logic: without this information there is no application to look at.
To measure how well our ads work and to protect the form from automated submissions. Here we rely on our legitimate interest in knowing where our enquiries come from and in keeping the form usable.
⛔ Your data is neither sold, rented nor exchanged, and it is never used for unsolicited marketing.
Who has access
Internally: the sales team for project enquiries, the HR team for applications and internships. Nobody else.
Externally, two technical providers, who act on our instructions and have no right to use your data for their own purposes:
- Infomaniak Network SA, our hosting provider — Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias, Geneva,Switzerland. Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision by the European Commission: hosting data there offers the same level of protection as within the Union.
- Podio, the tracking tool where your enquiry is recorded, published byProgress Software Corporation, a company established in the United States. Transfers outside the European Union are governed by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
For how long
- Project enquiries with no follow-up : 3 ansfrom our last contact with you.
- Enquiries that became projects: kept for the length of the commercial relationship, then for the statutory accounting retention periods.
- Unsuccessful applications and internship requests : 2 ansfrom our last contact. After that, simply write to us again.
- IP address(anti-spam): 24 hours.
What you can require
You may at any time ask to see the data we hold on you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict its use, to retrieve it in a readable format, or to object to its processing.
One address for all of it: contact@bluevistaprod.com. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested if we have a serious doubt about who is writing.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the CNIL (the French data protection authority), cnil.fr. For an enquiry sent from the Swiss site, the competent authority is thePFPDT.
Cookies and audience measurement
A cookie is a small file placed on your device. We distinguish two kinds, and they do not have the same status.
Those that make the site work— remembering your cookie choice, keeping what you have typed if you switch tabs in the form, protecting the submission against bots. They are necessary to the service you are asking for, they serve nothing else, and the regulations do not make their placement subject to your consent.
Those that measure the audience— knowing which pages are viewed, for how long, and by what route you arrived. These are only triggered after your explicit consent. Until you have answered the banner, or if you refuse, no measurement is activated: we declare refusal by default before the page has even finished loading.
Change your mind, at any time. The “Cookies” link at the foot of every page reopens the banner. If you move from acceptance to refusal, the page reloads immediately so that measurement stops there and then, not on your next visit.
Your choice is kept on your device, in your browser. It is not transmitted: we do not know who accepted and who refused. Clearing your browser data removes it, and the banner will reappear.
What we don’t use.The map on the contact page is a drawing, not a Google map: it places no cookie and sends nothing to a third party. We use neither social media advertising pixels nor cross-site tracking tools.
