Documentary making of — SGS Geneva
We produced a filmed making of at the SGS Art Services laboratory in Geneva, during a documentary shoot for the BBC.
Over two days we followed everyone taking part, and used the shoot to gather further footage for a corporate film.
For this SGS making of, we filmed the crews on several cameras. We used a stabilizer to keep the images fluid, and some sequences were shot in time-lapse.
We also interviewed the participants to gather how they felt about the operation. Our teams are used to running interviews in a way that makes the camera fade away and puts people at ease. Where it helps, we also have an autocue.
Music played an important part too, in building an atmosphere of its own.
